These three dimensional mandalas are created from folded photographs of butterfly wings, creating a rhythmic and meditative original piece of art.  The geometric pattern, along with the blues and whites of this piece always has me thinking of snowflakes.  The  mandala is coated with epoxy resin, giving it a high gloss sheen, while also protecting the original photographs from UV light and other elements.
